The sparkling wines from the 2024 vintage of Wijndomein De Boe will soon be available again. The wines are made using the traditional method and have aged sur lie for 11 months. This is the duration they spent resting on the lees, resulting in a richer and fuller flavor. In addition to the Blanc de Blancs Brut (Chardonnay) and the Rosé Brut (Pinot Noir), we are also welcoming a new addition to the sparkling wine family: the Tuin van Zeeland Brut. This Brut is made from Muscaris and Souvignier Gris. It is an ode to the Walcheren peninsula, also known as the Garden of Zeeland. Thanks to the presence of Muscaris in this blend, this Brut features many floral and fruity notes! They can be reserved in the webshop starting now! What a season! We have brought in a beautiful harvest this year. All the grapes are now safely in the tanks and are in full fermentation. For the first time, we are also releasing a red wine made from Pinot Noir Précoce and Trousseau! It is currently undergoing malolactic fermentation, resulting in smooth flavors and extra depth. We can't wait to share this with you.🍷 Our dessert wine was a hit last year, and that left us wanting more! That is why we are making no less than five times as many bottles this year.✨ Meanwhile, the vineyard is turning beautiful autumn colors 🍂. While nature settles down, we are already getting ready for the next season, pruning the vines and enriching the soil with sustainable mushroom compost.

We are harvesting the Pinot Gris this morning with our amazing picking team! The quality of the grapes is exceptional. Available in bottles again in six months!

Challenging weather conditions were to blame for this. The same was true here, but despite this, Wijndomein De Boe was able to produce beautiful wines! Spring has truly arrived! The sap flow has started, the vines are bleeding, and the buds are beginning to open. In the case of the Muscaris, our earliest grape variety, the first leaves are already visible. The vineyard is ready for 2025! The vines have been pruned, the canes laid down. With this warm weather, the vineyard is slowly getting going again. The sap flow has already started again. We can see this in the bleeding vines (nothing serious), but also in the swelling buds!
